Established in 1998, Aurora has built its reputation not only on the quality of products it offers but also the quality of staff that it employs. Listed below are some of the key personnel.
Hugh Carr-Archer - Chief Executive Officer
Hugh was previously Executive Chairman of a highly successful software house in the education sector. Since the inception of Aurora he has overseen the formation and growth of the company. In 2007 he was elected by his colleagues in the industry to be chairman of the Intellect Association of Biometrics. Intellect is the UK's largest trade and industry association of IT and related technologies.
Patrick Usher - Technical Director
With a successful career in education behind him, Patrick moved into the software industry in 1990 with equal success. In 1998 he co-founded Aurora and leads the company's development of flexible and professional software applications and research.
James Ward - Operations Director
James oversees the customer-facing technical support team, manages major projects and handles new and emerging overseas sales projects.
Richard McLaughlin - I.T Manager
Richard is responsible for the day to day running of the I.T department at Aurora and delivery of all solutions at a technical level to our clients. Richard has a team of five I.T specialists who provide a comprehensive level of support to our ever expanding client base.
 
Aurora also has two highly experienced non-executive directors on its board, both of whom have successful involvement in growing companies.
Roger Brown – Non-executive Director
Roger is a director of Noble Grossart Investments Limited with a background in accounting and extensive business experience.
Helen Prentice – Non-executive Director
Helen is a fully qualified accountant who has worked with several companies in recent years providing expert guidance and advice.
